Sapphire parure made by Koechli, for her, mid. 1890’s. The jewels were commisioned by Alexander III and Maria Feodorovna for Alix upon her marriage.

Note: Frederic Koechly (sometimes spelled Friedrich Köchli ) was, like Fabergé, a Court jeweler to the Tsars.
